Sallie Gratch, born in Chicago, Illinois in 1935, is a social worker, peace activist, and the founder of Project Kesher and Women Founders Collective.  She lives in Evanston, Illinois and summers in the mountains near Whitefish, Montana.  Sallie and her husband Alan (z”l) have three adult children, two living today.
